THIELE hoist chains comply with DIN EN 818-7 and manufacturer-related requirements, and have proven themselves in both manual and motor-driven hoists.
We recommend the use of heat treated hoist chains (version T) for manual hoists and our surface-case hardened, wear-resistant hoist chains (versions DAT and DT) for motor-driven hoists. We also recommend the use of heat treated hoist chains (version T) in motor-driven hoists for wind power installations due to the low level of contact frequency between the chain wheel pockets and the chain link.
Hoist chains are available in models that are galvanised, zinc lamellae-coated or yellow chromatized.
