The Grade 100 clevis self-locking hooks TWN 1837 are used to assemble chain slings and are often used in the construction industry. The clevis design enables the direct attachment to the chain strands. When the hooks are under load, they lock automatically. They may only be reopened manually when the hooks are not under load anymore. The manufacturing and testing requirements correspond to the ASTM A952/A952M, ISO 8539, DIN EN 1677-1 and DIN 5692, under consideration of Grade 100 working load limits.
